Star Trek Thread: Pretty sure at least two of us watch it
Let's discuss Star Trek.
Whats your favorite series? Movie? Character?Ship?
Let's discuss
I like the Next Generation, TOS, Enterprise, and DS9
I say I hate voyager, but I've never seen it.
Wrath of Khan is the best
keep on discussing
this is some reference

This is problematic. Yes voyager had a lot of problems but I'll be damned if it wasn't entertaining. Hell, literally every named character was a Mary Sue. It was like they could do no wrong. ALL OF THEM. Although it did ruin the Borg. That was probably the worst thing it did.

Yeah I need to find a way to watch it, just to see what it's all about.
Anyways, My mind was just assaulted with the worst episode of pretty much anything: Unexpected (Star Trek: Enterprise). Just really bad.
Let's start: Some alien race has a damaged ship, and is travelling in Enterprise's warp wake. Okay, nothing terrible yet. Eventually, the crew finds out, and send the engineer over to help them.
Okay, things are going all chill, and their warp core gets fixed and all that, but the female alien engineer starts having red feelings for the engineer. She takes him to their holodeck, and essential rapes him with her mind.
With. Her. Mind. WTF is even going on anymore and why am I still watching this?
THEN it turns out that in their race, the males get pregnant, so, hey what do you know, the human dude get's pregnant. If that's not stupid enough for you, the fetus grows on his arm.
His arm is carrying a illegitimate alien child. Wow what is this I don't even....
At this point, I stopped watching, and went to watch some TNG I DVR'd off of Syfy.
One more complaint: The theme song for Enterprise.
I was expecting some cool march type deal, but instead I get a f*cking Nirvana rip off. I mean, it's some dude, who's signing voice is the definition of douche-bag, paying his acoustic guitar and singing about hardship.
In conclusion: Harry Mudd, 2012

Yeah I admit it's pretty goddamn cheesy but I will also admit that it grew on me like a fungus. By the end of the show I was totally singing along man.

The animated series is pretty much the only TRULY artful thing to come out of the franchise. Everything else is amateurish.
- Spoiler:
Will Shat really can "sing"
