Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
Yeah, cartoons like SAMURAI JACK are what I like. I mean, that show is insane. Other shows I like are:
Lost, Spectacular Spiderman, X-Files, Red Dwarf, Flight of the Concords... um... Batman animated series, Heros (Not much anymore), um... Many more, but probably those ones I already said are really up there on my list.

Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
I watched that show as a kid,but my memory of it is so foggy DX. I only remember certain scenes, like these weird creatures putting their hands on top of the water creating ripples, and something showed up from the water, but I forgot. And I only remember playing one samurai jack themed game, some dance themed thing. *shrugs* I dunno.silent wulf wrote:I remember samurai jack, that show was awesome. I'm sure I saw an episode of that and wasn't impressed much.
Though I'll tell you what has been impressing me in the past week, Flashfoward. We're getting it 4 days after it airs in the US and I'm compelled by that appearance of that man who my bro says looks like a badly CGI'd batman. Let's all hope it doesn't go the same way as Jericho.

Yeah, that show looks pretty good. Don't know much other than that there is people that see their future's. So, yeah, just that sounds like it could be all right, I bet there's a lot more story and coolness to it than just that though. I think I might want to watch some Fringe though, I've heard that that is awesome.

I find that show tries to give all the characters too much back story than is needed.

Man, you should have seen this bumper explode off this car that they had, and it just obliterated this mannequin from fifty feet. Even though it was with gunpowder and not in a car fire. And the Build Team shot arrows into a big ol' foam board from a moving jeep.
I've seen that one.

Oh yeah. Me and my family recently got into watching this show called "Unwrapped". It's this little food-type show where they have different foods they look into each episode. Like showing the best treats that have that certain food in it. Last episode we saw they focused on Marshmallows. It's not thrilling or anything,it's just a charming little show that makes you go "Wow I didn't know that!"

Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
Well, I just finished smallville season 1, it was pretty cool at times, but totally corny some times and a lot of the episodes were pointless and it made no sense. Clarc Kent would save his friends every episode and then they would act like it was nothing crazy like "oh clark, thank got you rescued me from being berried underground", and then they just move on to a different subject. And then a lot of characters got superpowers because of kryptonite, which for some reason gives people powers, weird ones that make no sense, like making people turn to dust or looking into the future, which are totally different. So yeah, but the last episode was good and a lot of the episodes were good but I've heard it gets better after the first season.

Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
I've recently gotten into watching two Animal Planet series:
The HauNted
and Im Alive.
The HauNted is pretty interesting, but dang, man. Once the people do the investigation, they just leave the people praying the Ghost'll leave.
And Im Alive, oh. Im Alive. Best Animal Planet series i've ever seen, but the camera gives me a headache. The camera just goes "Whoaaa!!" everywhere, anyway. The opening song, title and logo (with the two hands) makes me cry every darn time. I just wailed the first time I saw it. Its just one hand slowly sinking into darkness (with a few deadly animals on it, mostly snakes wrapping around it) another hand grabs the one sinking and pulls it up a bit. Supra dumb I know, but the message gets me every time. Once I get home from Hawaii, im recording it on a daily basis. Im Alive is bascially stories of people escaping death-by-animals, sometimes saved by a friend, which is what the logo picture represents.

Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
I watch very little TV, but I do love the Mythbusters. Grant is my favorite, have any of you seen the one where he falls in love with a robot? Hilarious!
I also watch Monday Night Countdown and any time a Denver Broncos game is on (Go Broncos!)
Mostly, though, I like to rent old, canceled TV shows from Blockbuster and watch those. My favorites are Freakazoid (the best show ever) and The Greatest American Hero.
Now, for me, it is more important to establish which are the WORST TV shows ever. And that is, no question, The Prisoner.

I'm not a big fan of television either, but I am consumed by it on Thursday night. The Office, Fringe, and FlashForward make for an excellent Thursday night.
Sportscenter and ESPNEWS is usually on in the morning for me as well though.

I'm right with ya' MKJ, Flashfoward is the awesome. My only snag with it is that they've knida limited it to one season, I really don't know how it could go on past this one.

I see ways they might be able to, but you're right I believe. I don't know how they would make quality episodes if there were more seasons, but they could, is what I'm saying.Thy Dungeon Master wrote:I'm right with ya' MKJ, Flashfoward is the awesome. Re: Tee-Bee Show talk!
Well, I've been watching more smallville, at the time I stopped there was this teacher at clark's high school, who was also lex luthors wife, had a super power that made it so whoever she kissed they did her bidding, so, like, she basically tried seducing clark kent, it was really bad. I stopped watching it though and I think I'll start watching fringe or maybe flash forward.
