SBCG4AP Season 2 would honestly be the best thing ever. Though if they do it, they gotta go with an alternate universe story. I would pay big bucks for an epic showdown with Old Timey Strong Bad at the end of an Old Timey episode.

And they said that one of the titles will be an new license based off a recent comic book and TV show. Most people over at Telltale are speculating that it's The Walking Dead, which doesn't seem too far off. Speaking of: Link!

I dunno about the alternate universe bit. One of my favorite things about SBCG4AP-and one of the things that really makes it stand out from other Telltale titles-is that it's really just the Homestar Runner characters going about their normal lives!
I mean, look at the Sam & Max games. You get the idea that they go on lots of cases and things BETWEEN the games, but that these are just their biggest, weirdest, most "out there" cases. And one of my problems with The Devil's Playhouse was that, especially in Episodes 4 & 5, it tried to be almost TOO epic. But with Strong Bad's game, it's pretty much just them doing what they do all day (which is, granted, a little more interesting and a lot more hilarious than what we do all day.) The exception to this is, of course, 8-Bit is Enough, but that's a finale, and therefore a little different. And Strong Badia the Free, to a certain extent. But still, it's not like Sam & Max or Monkey Island's "Who is good? Who is evil? What is big engaging plot twist?"-type storytelling.

As for the new-series-alternate-recent-comic-book-and-also-TV-show, maybe it's The Cape. The "life as we know it" is a pretty clear reference to Star Trek, but it's not particularly recent. And there weren't comics. And a TTG Star Trek Game would probably suck. A lot.

I think the whole "standard day in the life of SB" worked really well for the first season, but I honestly don't think another season of that is gonna work. What else can they do with that? They've covered the bands, the countries, the contests, the video games, and the standard competitions. Now I not saying it should go to ToMI or Devil's Playhouse levels of epicness (though I certainly enjoyed that in those seasons), but I think it needs to branch out and be different than the first season.

...You know that The Cape isn't actually a comic book, right?

Yes, epicness in MI and S&M is good. But it's not for Strong Bad. But you're right-maybe they should branch out a little more.
I probably will love SBCG4AP2 no matter what it's like. Or if it ever exists. I like it pre-emptively.

...No, I didn't know that The Cape isn't a comic book! I haven't even seen the show. All I know is that it's a superhero TV show, it's new, and that superheroes usually come from comic books.

By the way, if it is SBCG4AP, and there is an alternate universe plot, Cheat Commandos will be Episode 3. I'm calling it. I don't know why, but it just seems to fit.

I wouldn't bother watching The Cape. It's pretty suckish. I wouldn't touch it with a yardstick even if Telltale based a game on it.

Also, Telltale has permanently reduced the price of Puzzle Agent to $5. Methinks one of these announcements is a Puzzle Agent sequel. Which I'd buy. Quickly.

Okay, fine, maybe it is that stupid zombie crap that sucks and which I hadn't even heard of before this. Though I will point out that the comic for that is NOT brand new, even if the stupid TV show that I've also decided to irrationally hate is.

Walking Dead was a great comic series that started to fade when it decide the only plot twist it could add was killing a character

haven't seen the tv show but there really does not need to be another game based on zombies

Look at this list Wikipedia's got! And it doesn't even include games that have zombies AND other monsters, like Doom. Heck, even that new Call of Duty Blecch Ops has zombies!
Why couldn't it be hobgoblins, the most under-appreciated goblin class. I wanna play a hobgoblin game!

i have this sort of focused dyslexia. whenever i see the word hobgoblins i read it as hobogoblins and it is always funny

Actually...yes.
Though HoboGoblins sounds like a really terrible B-Movie. That is exactly-EXACTLY-as enjoyable as having your fingernails ripped out by the roots using pliers.
I just watched a really terrible movie yesterday which I was told would be good. Now I'm bitter.
