edit: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:Just go get Portal actually. Everyone go get Portal. It's free and I say with confidence its the best first person puzzle game ever made.

Re: Video Games
I just beat Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse: Episode 2: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak today. So it's time to update my list of top Sam & Max episodes!
1. The Tomb of Sammun-Mak - PAPIER WAITE: Greetings, ladies and gentlemans!
2. Night of the Raving Dead - JURGEN: Ooh, look at me, so edgy and subversive.
3. What's New Beelzebub? - JURGEN: So then I says to Gunther, I says "Gunther..."
4. Chariots of the Dogs - BOSCO: It's.. it's... T-H-E-M!
5. Reality 2.0 - BLUSTER BLASTER: All will fall! There is no escape!
6. The Penal Zone - SKUN-KA'PE: Gordon's alive!?
7. Bright Side of the Moon - SYBIL: Canada - It's surprisingly pleasant!
8. Moai Better Blues - LINCOLN: You're just having a mood!
9. Abe Lincoln Must Die! - MAX: One rabbit, one law!
10. The Mole, the Mob, and the Meatball - LEONARD STEAKCHARMER: This one's for you, momma.
11. Situation Comedy - HUGH BLISS: Hi, I'm Hugh Bliss!
12. Ice Station Santa - SANTA: Hold still while I give you your presents!
13. Culture Shock - BRADY CULTURE: Pulchritude above doubts, this is Culture's clubhouse!
Yeah, Sammun-Mak was THAT good. It's probably not just my favorite Sam & Max episode, but my favorite episode of ANYTHING that Telltale has released. The puzzle design was genius, the locations looked great, and Jurgen (that guy in my avatar) returned for a bit of an origin story. The only downside was the return of Baby Amelia Earhart, who (along with the other Easter Island babies) is no doubt the worst character Telltale has ever created.

So I made a deal with Jango: 5 PS2 Games for 20$.
In It, I got Call of Duty Final Fronts, Star Wars Batlefront II, MLB 05, Sega Classics, and *gasp* NASCAR 2005!

SWBF II is worth 20 itself! Jango was on the losing end. Again.
Anyway, this cake is great. So delicious and moist. And then I Rip GLaDOS's head off. And throw it into a fire. Because I hate her. And can't wait to kill her.

GLaDOS isn't dead though apparently. She finds it fun to serenade you with Jonathan Coulton. She makes high note she is still alive. The irony is Portal leads up to you killing GLaDOS. But you can't. Portal is a quest for futility.

Re: Video Games
Battlefront II is really easy single player though. The AI is incredibly dumb. The only hard level is Polis Massa. Which is basically just a grenade bath because the AI difficulty algorithm goes like this.
EASY AI=RUN INTO CORNERS, HAVE NO AIM
HARD AI=GRENADESGRENADESGRENADESGRENADES
And since Polis Massa is so enclosed you can't GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE GRENADES.

Re: Video Games
I was never satisfied with just having Sam on the Bright Side of the Moon icon. So I made these:
The Emetics guy and Mr. Featherly. So if you have Sam & Max Season 1 and don't like the Sam icon, these be for you. Granted, you'll need some .ico files of them for them to work on the desktop, but if you're like me and keep your S&M icons in your Windows 7 dock, the .gifs will work.
Also, they look less pixelly around the edges once they get shrunk down to icon size. Trust me.

Re: Video Games
First of all, I liked the picture of Sam. However, I just have one double-click for the whole series (since I purchased this version), so it really doesn't apply to me. Also, Windows 7 just hates when I screw with icons.
Second of all, on another Telltale-related note, my Collector's Edition DVD Slipcase with Cover Art by Steve Purcell (CEDVDSwCAbSP) which I have been waiting for since LAST Summer, has shipped! It should be here within days! DAYS! I can taste that Collector's Edition DVD Slipcase with Cover Art by Steve Purcell Goodness (CEDVDSwCAbSPG) already!

The collector's edition is awesome. Tons o' commentary. And the Purcell slipcover is more miraculous than say, life.Uzi-Bazooka wrote:Second of all, on another Telltale-related note, my Collector's Edition DVD Slipcase with Cover Art by Steve Purcell (CEDVDSwCAbSP) which I have been waiting for since LAST Summer, has shipped! Yes, I know. I have it. Tales of Monkey Island, as I have said before, is my absolute FAVORITE Telltale game of all time. Possibly my FAVORITE game of all time. You probably don't get as much of it, though, having not played the original four games. Call yourself a freakin' Monkey Island fan...

Wait, you're talking about the Monkey Island DVD. I thought you were still going on about S&M in that second half of your post! Way to transition between subjects, Uzi.Uzi-Bazooka wrote:Yes, I know. My ToMI DVD hasn't even shipped, and I got the basic edition (hey, money's tight). As for my favorite Telltale game, it's probably a tie between Tales and Sam & Max Season 2. And I may not have played the original four games, but I do have the special edition re-release of the first game! I'm not totally failsome, fool!

Yes, I was talking about Tales of Monkey Island! I didn't even know Steve Purcell MADE art for the other games! Well, whatever. It, too, has craploads of commentary.

Dude, Steve Purcell CREATED the characters Sam & Max, of course he didn't just make art for Monkey Island and completely ignore the thing he originally CREATED.Uzi-Bazooka wrote:Wait, who-who the what-now?

Ye know, it's weird. In the game, "Mario and Luigi, Bowser's Inside Story". Mario and Luigi talk, sort of. But I've noticed when Mario says something. He just says a string of jibberish then ends with a type of food. So far I've heard him end with "potato" and "spaghetti". I'm curious as to what else he can cook up.
