Strong Bad Sings - For Real
I'm planning on making a CD of what a real Strong Bad Sings would be like. Anyone have ideas for more tracks? Y'know, Strong Bad's songs and songs he'd probably listen to. It must be a song with some instrumentals in it, above 15 seconds, and must be something Strong Bad would approve of. (Oh Yeah Yeah is a song he wouldn't approve of, for example. Moving Very Slowly is.)
To avoid ANY and ALL possile legal issues incase I try to sell this, so extended SB Sings songs will not be used, with two or three exceptions. Most of these are available for download, anyway.
So far I have (all by Strong Bad unless noted otherwise):
O Holy Crap
Poot-Slap - 3-Dee
Strong Badia Anthem
Everybody to the Limit
The System is Down
Circles
Trogdor the Burninator
Because, It's Midnite -Limozeen ("Breakin' the chains" up to "I'm gonna warn ya"
Moving Very Slowly -Taranchula (repeated clip from "fingers")
The Cheat is Not Dead
CGNU Fight Song
Different Town
Box [Living It Up] -Limozeen
Today is Alright 4 2Nite
Grumblecakes
You're a Girl
Showdown
SBEmail: Rock Opera
Feed the Childrens -Limozeen
The Decoupage -Taranchula
We Don't Really Even Care About You -sloshy

If it's freely available in all of the Flashes, yes, as long as he doesn't try selling them.

So, what you're saying is, it's not legal.

If he's just making a CD for convenience, doesn't sell it, and just listens to it by himself, I suppose it's legal. Maybe a gray area.

Go to the Wiki and look at the article called "Songs." They've got a more-than-complete list there for ya.
However, it is absolutely impossible for you to get all the Homestar Runner songs ever. I don't mean that it's really hard. I don't mean that you shouldn't do it. I mean that it is literally IMPOSSIBLE.
First of all, if you look at the article, you will see that there is a CRAPLOAD of songs. I doubt that you have enough FREE TIME to get them all.
But, just for kicks, let's assume that you have a crapload of free time. Maybe you have a job that requires no work, like you're the Secretary of State or something. Then how exactly are you planning on getting all of these songs? You'd have to, like, decompile the Flash thing, copy over all the sounds for it, cut out everything except that one song, eliminate background noise if applicable...are you really able to do all that? If you are, do you really want to do it for songs like "The Good Graphics Song"? And what about the music they play in the various video games?
Finally, let's assume that you do have a crapload of free time, that you do have a bunch of fancy-shmancy computer-type programs and things, and that you ARE willing to go all out for completeness on this one. Well, it's STILL impossible! Why, you ask? Because a lot of the Homestar Runner songs have never been made downloadable, never been put in a toon, never even been recorded on Youtube! Like the Limozeen slow version of Trogdor that was played at the Tabernacle in Atlanta! Or the untitled song that TBC wrote with Kevin Barnes for the same show? Or how about the songs they have performed with They Might Be Giants at their concert? These songs (and more, I could give you examples) have been lost forever. AND EVER.

Limozeen's Trogdor is available on YouTube, under the name "Limozeen - Song Two"
And I'm sure somone could find TMBG concert music.

Yeah, it's available...in the WORST QUALITY VIDEO I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG FREAKING TIME! Of course, I usually skip over bad-quality videos when I go on Youtube, which is about once a year approximately, but STILL! PIECE O' FRIGGIN' CRAP!
And if you're still determined to do this thing, despite my proof that it's a waste of time, then just answer me this:
WHY?!?!
As in:
WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS MISERY FOR A CD THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN LEGALLY MAKE ANY MONEY OFF OF?!?!

I like mine with a little slice of cheese on it...AND RUNNING RED WITH THE BLOOD OF MY ENEMIES! MNUAHAHAHAHA!!
And now, back to crushing DonutMonkey's hopes and dreams.
Oh, I see! Instead of using songs from a copyrighted CD, you are going to rip off the makers of the greatest web cartoon in ALL time by stealing their also copyrighted (check the bottom of the main page) work, which I'm sure was all hard to make, and sell it, thereby making money off of their product. That's SOOOO much better. I'm sure any court would convict you in a heartbeat.

Dude. It's all available online. For free. I don't see anything about selling it in his posts. I think it's just a bit of a waste of time but not illegal. Unless he is trying to sell it. Then hell hath no fury like a copyright lawyer scorned.
