I went to Hot Topic once. At the mall near my house, actually. My friends and I were looking for cosplay supplies for Otakon (I'm going as Sollux). Next thing I know they're dragging me into this place called Spencers. If you don't know the place, I'll just say this: five seconds in, my jaw hit the floor and I said "I NEED AN ADULT."

I never refused to read it. I just never got past the first act and I forgot about it. Then my friend sent me a link to it and I'm like "HEY, I REMEMBER THIS!" And then I read all the way through Act 3 in a matter of hours. And now here I am, obsessed with Homestuck. LIKE A BOSS.
